Snack Like a Southerner: Pimiento Cheese Spread

This lovely pimiento cheese spread is excellent for parties and upcoming cookouts. Serve with pretzel thins or crackers and enjoy!

Ingredients:
1 small can of evaporated milk
1 jar Pimiento (chopped)
1/4tsp salt
8oz grated cheddar cheese
4oz shredded cheddar cheese
2tbsp Miracle Whip

Step One:
In a saucepan over medium heat, heat milk and grated cheese until smooth. 

Step Two:
Remove from heat. Add Pimiento and salt. Let cool.

Step Three:
Add Miracle Whip and shredded cheese, stir.

Step Four:
Chill for a bit and serve!

Ingredients:

1 cup cooked Minute Rice

1 cup chopped onion

1 cup chopped celery

10oz chopped cooked broccoli

1 can mushroom soup

1tbsp margarine

16oz jar Cheez Whiz

¼tsp garlic powder

 

In a saucepan, sauté celery and onions in butter for about two to three minutes. Add remaining ingredients while they are still hot. Mix well for about three minutes. Serve warm with crackers!
